Eric’s car is basically done. I did a good shakedown on Palomar Mountain. It also was in a photoshoot yesterday comparing the Dino against another car. Will be on the cover of a major car magazine coming out in November. Today it goes back to Brad at Speedzone for final buffing.

I received the engine which was rebuilt by Patrick Ottis. I was quite surprised at the cosmetics considering his reputation. NO WAY was that going in Eric’s Dino, it would of stuck out like a sore thumb. I removed a lot of bits and pieces for plating, tumbling, powder coating and cleaning. Already looking much better! There must of been some miscommunication between the owner and the shop concerning cosmetics.

Eric’s Dino is moving along with most of the interior in, including the dash.  The replacement windscreen was etched with original logo.

We started on the interior today.  We’re using a deep dark red, which will look stunning with the Argento interior. Headliner, leather rear wall and Dino vinyl sills today.

Almost finished with getting all the fiberglass back in, everything sealed up and all new brake lines. A few more small projects and the wiring is started working from front to rear. With the wiring complete in the front the grill and bumpers go on.
