Overdue update on 206SP
We have made a lot of progress getting this to be a running car. I sourced the engine from the Netherlands, it’s a 2.0 L from a Fiat Dino as I wanted this car to be drivable on the street and i needed a longitudinal installation. I had a new winshield made and had wheels made. The biggest challenge right now it getting the gear shift which I had made to look like original operate with the ZF gearbox. As soon as this is solved we can move on to completion.
Mounting Shocks
This use to be a somewhat exciting job until I made this new tool. No more springs flying across the room!!
Dino 206 SP
This is my favorite Dino, a 206 SP used for racing in the mid 60’s. This one happenes to be a very good reproduction.

More Yellow
The body is getting painted any day now. Being this is a non metallic color it does not need to be painted all at once with all the panels on the car. The parts painted are looking really good!! Brad at Speedzone does an incredible job.
Dino Gas Cap
Every item no matter how small gets restored. The gas cap was taken apart with the metal part replated to it original yellow cad. The seal was replaced and the outer rubber cleaned. It looks like how it came from the factory 40 years ago.
