Paint day
Base coat and clear coat! I really like how the Azzuro Dino turned out and especially since this was the original color on this car..I’m keeping thid one, can’t get much better than a late Euro model with flares, no AC, no smog, no USA lights and a great original color.
Headed to paint
With all the metal work done and the gaps all good, it leaves today for Speedzone for Azzurro Dino, it’s original color.
Finishing metal work
Back to work on 07574. Doing the finish metal work for another week or so then off to the paint shop!
Window of time
I had a window of time before my next project arrives so 07574 is going under the knife!!. Only the fiberglass left to take out.
Found the original color hidden inside
I pulled off the door panel today and there is the original Azzuro Dino!
New euro flares and chairs
I had an esteemed guest at my shop last week, no other than the author of my well used Dino Compendium. We are discussing 07574 which I recently acquired as being a very rare Euro Flared Spyder. Approximately 15 Euro Spyders with flares. What makes this one more unique is it’s original rare color of Azzuro. I’ve always been looking for a Dino just like this, no AC, no power windows, flares, unique color, it’s perfect. Originally sold in Belgium, hence the orange indicator lenses. This will get the full treatment at some point and back to it’s original color.
