I was in Spicewood,Texas this past week and got to drive my Challenge Stradale. What a great car!!
Dino GT 04502
I owned the Dino for a short while and planned on restoring it due to it’s rare color Rosso Cordoba Metallizzato. I got a call from a guy who needed a Dino to run in a rally he was doing and this is the one he had to have. So bye bye Dino.
Porsche 356 SC
My first sports car as I headed off to BYU. I quickly graduated to 911’s but slowly graduated from BYU!
73 Dino Gt #04936
This is the second restoration I did. It is a 73 GT, very rare in that it is one of 5 USA models that came from the factory with “Flares and Chairs” a special package with flared wheel housings, wider Campagnolo wheels and seats similar to the Ferrari Daytona.
74 GTS #07836
This is a 74 Dino Spyder painted in Blue Dino Metallizzato. I spent 2 years along with my son Jeff doing a 2 year total nuts and bolts restoration. I plan on keeping it forever!
Dino GTS #08318
This car was sort of a sad tale. I bought it in Chicago at Continental Motors, the Ferrari dealership there. I took my son who was then about 13 to go see it and later buy it. It was really cool as I had never been to Chicago and the dealer was just unloading off the truck straight from the factory a red F40! The sad tale began when a number of years later I consigned it to a shop on Santa Monica Blvd. Without my knowledge they sold the car with no title, kept the money and closed up in the middle of the night and fled the country. After years of litigation I recovered money from the LA bank that was involved in the sale with the dealer and one of the owners in England. A bad memory for sure!!!
Dino GTS #08246
I owned Dino GTS 08246 for a number of years. The good old days, I bought it for $75,000!!
Dino GTS #08076
I owned this car for a short time when I decided to restore my first Dino. I kept this as a reference until I finished my restoration.
