Dino Restoration

I got the prototype Dino back from the paint shop last week after about 4 months. TJ at Color House of Texas did a great job on this one and now I get to do the best part of a restoration! I love reassembly with all the restored and clean parts, so far everything is going smoothly. I did have a stud snap on the brake booster so it’s back a step on that one. It’s so cool seeing

Back To Philly

I hated to see this one leave the shop! It was here to improve on a few things. I added a correct exhaust, correct fuel cap, shift knob, Irvin seat belts, engine stenciling and some cleanup.

206 fuel caps

They only made 154 206 Dinos and they were the only ones with an external fuel cap. They are very cool looking with an artsy touch. Over 50 years there are many owners with not the correct fuel caps, so I took on a huge and expensive project to make some replacements copied after an original cap.

Parts and more parts!

While the body is at the paint shop, I continue to get the parts put together. I should have the car back in 3 months and I’ll be ready to start reassembly.
