For years I have sent my Dino gauges to North Hollywood Speedometer for cleaning and repair. Today instead of sending I hand delivered them to get a look at a legendary shop that has been in the same place sine 1963.  The shop was amazing and crammed full of gauges waiting for repair and restoration. I send the calipers out to be replated (cad yellow) as per factory and replace all the hardware..  Rebuild kits include all new rubber seals, o rings etc,  The fronts are pretty straight forward.  The rears are a PITA as the emergency brake is internal in the rear calipers as you can see by the abundance of parts. a

More parts getting rebuilt on Rob’s restoration.  Today I rebuilt the brake calipers (front and rear), emergency brake, master cylinder and the brake equalizer. I like to go through a whole system and finish all the related parts before moving to another parts group.

The front and rear glass went in today.  The rear glass is very tricky as you actually have to flex the glass a good amount to get it in!

I picked up all the various parts I had replated in either clear cad, yellow cad or black zinc.  I love when it all laid out, it looks like Dino jewelry.  Robs car is still being media blasted and expected to go to the paint shop next week where Steve Kouracos will work his magic. During that time I will rebuilding and refurbishing all the parts I took off that Dino.
