Off to LA to be Reunited With it’s Motor
On it’s way to Los Angeles to be re-united with the motor. It will then come back for color sand and buff and final detail items.
Ready For Paint
We had the paint matched to my Scaglietti Color sample booklet as there is no modern formula. It’s a perfect match to the booklet, you wouldn’t know it by my photos as the plastic model sprayout does not look the same as a flat sprayout. It really changes colors with the shadows etc.
Frame Painted
One day closer to the body getting painted as the frame was painted today.
Ready For Paint!
The Dino has it’s final primer and is ready for paint. It will be painted in it’s original color Argento Auteil Metallizzato.

I think this sort of validates the work I did on this restoration! It sold for a record price of $473,000.
