Moving along, finally starting suspension. Rob opted for coil over shocks custom made by Nics Forza Ferrari. Almost ready for the motor install
Doors
With the doors basically done after 3 days I can move on to the next project. The door are very difficult as there are so many things that need to work together and fit right.
Clearcoat
Painting the Basecoat
Today Brad sprayed 2 coats of the base color over the urethane primer. It’s starting to come alive!
Yellow Urethane Primer
Second coat of House of Kolor Urethane Primer.
The Dash
You wouldn’t think the dash would take all day to put in, but by the time I hooked everything up and got all the vent/heater cables adjusted the day was gone. If any of you are doing your dash I would strongly recommend attaching the cables to the dash pulls before installing the dash, it makes things way easier than being a contortionist trying to attach the cables after the dash is in.
More Yellow
The body is getting painted any day now. Being this is a non metallic color it does not need to be painted all at once with all the panels on the car. The parts painted are looking really good!! Brad at Speedzone does an incredible job.
Carpeting Complete
More interior today, Ralph from Auto’s international came over today and finished the carpet. It’s very fun and satisfying watching and participating in #08450 return to it’s original exterior color and interior. The rust carpeting came from HVL in the Netherlands.
