This use to be a somewhat exciting job until I made this new tool. No more springs flying across the room!!
This is my favorite Dino, a 206 SP used for racing in the mid 60’s. This one happenes to be a very good reproduction.
Very rare Blue Chiaro Metallizzato
Total restored and immaculate condition. 2800 miles since total nuts and bolts restoration. Original Campagnolo wheels, all books, tools, jack etc. None finer.07836
The body is getting painted any day now. Being this is a non metallic color it does not need to be painted all at once with all the panels on the car. The parts painted are looking really good!! Brad at Speedzone does an incredible job.
Every item no matter how small gets restored. The gas cap was taken apart with the metal part replated to it original yellow cad. The seal was replaced and the outer rubber cleaned. It looks like how it came from the factory 40 years ago.
I’m sure everybody has heard of a nuts and bolts restoration, but what does that mean. It literally means every item down to the smallest washer is addressed whether is is rechromed or replated to factory finish. No item is left undone. This is a pile of nuts and bolts etc that tomorrow go to the plater. It is every nut, bolt, washer and thingamajig that came off Dino 06450.
A beautiful day in San Diego for Bella Italia, a car show on San Diego Harbor featuring Ferraris and Lamborghinis. My Dino 07836 picked up another first place award!
