A New Project #06450 Chairs and Flares
I drove from San Diego to Oakland to pick up a new project, an original Dino GTS Flares and Chairs still in it’s original paint. The previous owners owner and regularly drove “Dino” for 34 years and said goodbye today!! I brought it to my shop to begin a total nuts and bolts, rotisserie restoration. The new owner’s 14 year old son did all the research and recommended to his Dad to buy this one. A great choice being a rare flares and chairs car with all books and tools and in original condition.
Engine Progress
Dino Electric Window Motors
Refurbishing the window motors. The grease in these is 40 years old and time to be replaced.
Dino Sheet Metal
All the old rusted sheet metal being replaced with new aluminum pieces.
Engine Rebuild Progress
With the timing chains finally here the engine reassembly can continue. In the meantime working on odds and ends as I’m nearing the end on the parts refurbishment.
